John Adams of Wartnaby 1823 Will

This is the last Will and Testament of me John Adams of Wartnaby in the county of Leicester Grazier as follows

First I direct my just Debts funeral and testamentary expences be fully paid

I Give and Devise All my Messuages Closes Lands and Hereditaments situate in Wartnaby aforesaid or elsewhere in England with the appurtenances unto my son Robert Adams his heirs and assigns for ever

I Give and bequeath All my Personal Estate and Effects whatsoever subject to the payment of my Debts funeral and testamentary expences unto my said son Robert Adams his Executors and Administrators and do hereby appoint him Sole Executor of this my last Will revoking all others by me made

In Witness whereof I the said John Adams have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty fourth day of April 1821

Signed sealed published and declared by the said John Adams as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who have at his request in his presence and in the presence of each other set our hands as witnesses to the due execution thereof

Let a Probat be made to Robert Adams of Wartnaby in the County of Leicester Farmer and Grazier the sole Executor named in the Will of the within named Testator who died in the Month of January 1822

He having been first duly Sworn as well to the faithful Execution of the Will as that the Testators Goods Chattels and Credits as they were at his death without deducting any debts owing by him therefrom are under the value of Three hundred Pounds
