This is the last Will and Testament of me William Braithwaite of Stathern Lodge in the County of Leicester Farmer

I appoint my wife Mercy Sarah Braithwaite my son William Hanson Braithwaite and my son in law John Thomas Barker of Stapleford in the County of Nottingham Twisthand (hereinafter called “my trustees”) to be the Executors and Trustees of this my Will for all purposes herein expressed and also for the purposes of the Settled Land Acts for the time being in force

I devise and bequeath all my real and personal estate whatsoever and wheresoever unto my Trustees Upon Trust to permit my said wife to receive the rents and profits and to have the beneficial enjoyment and occupation thereof during her life and after her death In trust as to as well the capital as the income thereof for all my children who being sons have attained or shall attain the age of twenty one years or being daughters have attained or shall attain that age or shall marry under that age in equal shares provided always that if any child of mine shall die in my lifetime leaving a child or children who shall survive me and being a son or sons shall attain the age of twenty one years or being a daughter or daughters shall attain that age or marry then and in every such case the last mentioned child or children shall take (and if more than one equally between them) the share which his her or their parent would have taken if such parent had survived me and attained the age of twenty one years

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this fifteenth say of June One thousand nine hundred and one
