In the name of god Amen in the yeare of owre lorde god mdlxxi the ii daye of December and in the xiiii yeare of the reign of Elyzabethe by the grace of god queen of Englande France and Ierlande Defender of the Feaythe &c wytnessythe that I Jhon Fawxe of Claxton being sycke in body and of good and perfette remembrans doe ordene and mayke thys my laste wyll and testement in maner and forme hereafter folowing
Firste I bequethe my sole to allmightye god my mayker and redemer and my body to be buryed in the churche yarde of Claxton my paryshe churche
