In the name of God Amen This is the last will and testament of me William Chambers of the parish of Chadwell Cum Whycombe in the county of Leicester, cottager

I will & bequeath all my goods chattels credits and effects whatsoever to my beloved wife Elizabeth Chambers for her sole use & enjoyment, with the hope that she will leave directions that whatever property she may die possessed of shall be divided share and share alike among the survivors of my four sons or their surviving children lawfully begotten each such family of children standing in the place of their respective parents
