In the name of God Amen the Twentith day of April in the yeare of our Lord Christ according to the account used in England one Thousand six hundred sixty one I Thomas North of Harby in the County of Leicester Shepard beinge sicke & weake in body but of good and perfect memory praised be God doe Constitute and make this my last will & Testament in manner and forme followinge that is to say

First I give and bequeath my Soule into the hands of Almighty God my maker and Creator hopeinge assuredly through the onely Merritts of Jesus Christ my onely Saviour and Redeemer to be made partaker of Life Everlastinge, and as for my body I Comend it to the earth whereof it was made to be buryed in the Church yard of Harby aforesaid in a decent maner

And as for my worldly goodes & estate which it hath pleased Allmighty God to lend me I give and bequeath as hereafter followeth that is to say

First I give & bequeath unto Jone North my Daughter one federbed one paire of blankets to make one bed hillinge one Coverlid one set of Curtines one boulster too feder pillowes one paire of flaxon sheetes too pilloberes one bedsted one Cubbard one great Chist one great pann one Cheeseprass too pewter dishes and six pounds of Lawfull money to be paid unto hur within one yeare next after my Decease

Also I give & bequeath unto John North my Sonn the Som of nine poundes of good & Lawfull money of England to be paid to him when hee shall accomplish & com to the age of one and twenty years

Item I give unto my son John one blanket

And If it shall happen that any of them shall depart this naturall Life before her or theire portion shall be by them Received That then the portion of her or them soe dieinge shall be and Remayne to the Survivor or survivors of them

All the rest of my goodes Chattles & Cattells whatsoever unbequeathed (my debts Legacies & funerall expensis beinge pd and discharged) I give & bequeath unto Thomas North my onely Sonne now of Harby in the said County of Leicester whome I make & nominate my full and joynt Executor of this my last will & testament Reckinge all former willes & testamts whatsoever heretofore by me made
